I started playing lacrosse in 2nd grade and I have been a lockdown defender ever since. I started playing on a club team in fourth grade and I am comfortable in 1v1 situations and pride myself on my ability to see the field. On the other end of the field, I am able to handle the ball well and set up my team for success. I was a freshman starter on my HS Varsity team last year but our season was cut short due to Covid-19. I played on the JV basketball team and JV soccer team as a freshman as well. For my sophomore year, I transferred high schools and had a great spring season. One of the most important parts of lacrosse is the bonds that I have formed with my teammates over the years.

Academically, I am taking numerous honors classes and have created a rigorous high school schedule. I have been able to maintain a 4.00 GPA and made honor roll all throughout my freshman year. Throughout my sophomore year, I made principals list. I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to volunteer and make food bags to help feed those struggling in this pandemic.

I am interested in finding a team and school that prides themselves in unity and teamwork. Although I have been playing a high level of lacrosse for most of my life, I always put academics first so It is important to me that the school I go to is academically talented.
