Head coach Mason Poli announced the addition of assistant coach Casey Eidenshink to the Bobcats' coaching staff in August of 2019.

Most recently, QU went 4-3 (4-2 MAAC) under the help of Eidenshink to earn the title of MAAC Co-Regular Season Champions. Quinnipiac finished the spring campaign with a 4-2 league record, winning three straight home games at the QU Lacrosse Stadium in Hamden from April 7-17. QU defeated St. Bonaventure on the road on March 27, then downed Siena, Manhattan and Canisius in MAAC play in Hamden during the month of April.

Under the guidance of Eidenshink, Quinnipiac finished the spring 2021 season ranked No. 12 nationally in scoring defense – allowing just 10.0 goals per game.

Eidenshink wrapped up his first season as the Bobcats' Assistant Coach in 2020. Quinnipiac’s season was cut short after just six games due to the COVID-19 virus. The Bobcats did not play a MAAC contest in 2020.

Eidenshink served as an assistant coach at Lehigh University – his alma mater – for two full seasons (2018-19). A close defenseman and long-stick midfielder as a player, the 2016 graduate of Lehigh was an All-Patriot League and Academic All-League honoree, finishing his collegiate career with a GPA over 3.30.

In his first year as an assistant at Lehigh in 2018, Eidenshink helped the program jump back into the national spotlight. The Mountain Hawks were ranked as high as No. 12 nationally, defeating No. 12 Army West Point and No. 18/19 Hofstra in the span of 10 days. Lehigh finished the season with a 10-7 record, going 5-3 in Patriot League action. The program fell to Loyola in the conference tournament championship game.

Eidenshink then helped guide the Mountain Hawks to another winning season in 2019, as Lehigh went 9-8 overall and 5-3 in conference play once again. The program advanced to the title contest of the postseason conference tournament once again, falling vs. Army West Point in the championship by the final score of 11-7.

As a player, Eidenshink appeared in 55 games (30 starts) during his Lehigh career. He recorded 115 groundballs and 49 caused turnovers – which ranks tied for eighth in school history. He had a career-high 50 groundballs and 23 caused turnovers as a junior, along with 32 groundballs and nine caused turnovers as a senior.

As a senior, Eidenshink was named a candidate for the prestigious Senior CLASS Award, played in the USILA North-South All-Star Game and was a USILA Scholar-All-American.
