Casey, is a big, strong, highly skilled and athletic attackman. He is also a great teammate, he brings energy and enthusiasm. Plus he is an absolute pleasure to coach. He is a high level DI talent and also a gifted student in the classroom. But the thing that stands out the most about Casey is his grit and toughness. I have coached thousands of high school lacrosse players, and I have learned that the greatest characteristic for successful next level players is their grit and toughness. With Casey you will always get his maximum effort on and off the field, he plays through pain, heat, cold whatever. No matter the score, up or down you can count on one hundred percent, one hundred percent of the time from Casey. The school that gets Casey will have rock solid student athlete who will enhance your program and school in many ways. Coach Edell 815 200 5110

In the 3+ years of coaching Casey I have seen him progress not only on the field but also as a young man and teammate. Casey is utilized in our offense in various ways and that is a credit to his skillset as a player and approach to the game. He is regularly used on the man-up as both an interior and outside threat along with excelling at isolating a defender from the wing as both an attackman or midfielder. Off the field Casey has taken great strides to be very coachable and is consistently putting in work outside of scheduled team events in the weight room and after practices. He continues to seek feedback on his game in hopes of not only improving himself but also striving to impact him team mates in a positive manner.

Casey is a big, strong attackman who plays for Upper Canada College '22, True National Black 2023, and Edge '23. At 6'2' 175lbs he has the ability to take on the top defensive matchup and drive to the net and finish. He possesses a heavy step-down shot and he is powerful and accurate on the run. He has a well developed lacrosse IQ from both field and box. His background in box lacrosse has translated into a tough, gritty field player who relishes battling for groundballs and does not mind taking or giving hits. He has worked diligently on his game both in season and during the pandemic shutdown. He is the guy dodging and taking shots after practice. He is focussed and a great listener in practices and games. I have been very impressed with his growth and he has been playing on the varsity team since grade 9.
