Cash Lawson starts his first season as an assistant men’s lacrosse coach in fall 2021.

He comes to Hartwick after spending the last two seasons at Clarkson University as a graduate assistant.

With the Golden Knights, Lawson specialized in preparing practice and game plans for the defensive and faceoff units. He also led the year-round recruiting process, was in charge of filming operations, oversaw equipment management and inventory, and ran the team’s social media accounts.

Lawson played lacrosse collegiately at Wells College as a defender and midfielder. A team captain for the 2018 season, he was a 3rd Team All-Conference recognition from the North Eastern Athletic Conference in 2017 and 2019, and was named the team’s Most Valuable Defensive Player in 2017 and 2018.

Lawson earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in economics from Wells in 2019, and was awarded a Master’s in Business Administration from Clarkson in May 2021.
