Recruit Profile
I love lacrosse because its all about speed and connections. Scoring is great, but assists and stopping my opponent cold are better. It's all about teamwork.
As a Sophomore at La Country Day School in 2021, I helped lead my varsity LAX team to a 15-0 record, winning CIF San Diego (#3 in SD and #6 in CA.) I played midfield this season scoring 20 goals and 19 assists, with 15 ball control wins from circle in our two toughest games. I am currently heading into summer 2021 showcases, and tournaments with my Mad Dog National Team.
As a Freshman I started every game as a defender for La Jolla Highs varsity LAX team, finishing with a 5-0 record before the pandemic. In my last game, I scored a goal, had an assist, and recovered 6 draws.
I have played 8 years now for the top Mad Dog travel teams winning the Coaches Award my first season. I have proven myself as a player, earning accolades as follows: starting Mad Dog National & Elite defender/mid-fielder 2016-21, 2016 Oceanside Hustle Champion, 2018 Riptide Champion, 2018 Vail Shootout Champion, 2019 Adrenaline America's Finest Rivalry Champion. I earned a position on the 2019 Under Armour All-American West Command (highest) Team, playing in Baltimore with our nation's best. I could not tryout for All-American in 2020 due to the pandemic, but played in 3 fall 2020 showcase tournaments, Prime Time (MD), Recruiting Challenge (NJ) and Face Off (NJ) starting all 9 games earning a 5-3-1 record against the best in the East.
I also played soccer for a decade as forward on a competitive travel team with girls 1-2 years older. I started every game for the LJHS Varsity Soccer team as a freshman. I enjoy skiing and body surfing. I am a multi-sport athlete and excited about the opportunity to play college lacrosse. I transferred to La Jolla Country Day School due to the pandemic and to advance my academics.
Academically I am an excellent student (3.9 GPA). I qualified for the Seminar Program, reserved for the top .01% of students nationwide, focusing on high-level, advanced curriculum. The lessons I have learned in sports have helped me grow into the person I am today. I grew up doing charity work with my family, including Meals on Wheels, volunteering at the San Diego Food Bank and playing bingo with the elderly. Community service is important because I am directly helping those in need.
