Aggressive, tough, coachable, and a hard working team player with a strong lax IQ - disciplined and determined multi-sport athlete.

I started playing lacrosse when I was in 2nd grade, and have loved the game ever since. I began playing club when I was in fourth grade. My natural position is defense but I pride myself on being very versatile, and I am always ready to play where I am needed. As a freshman, I started 7 varsity games on my high school team and scored twice and had 2 assists. As a sophomore, I started every game and had 18 goals, 9 assists, 50 ground balls, and 32 draw controls. I was also selected for Team Connecticut in Maryland and Connecticut Rising Stars. I was elected captain of my high school team as a junior and selected for the USA U17 Women's Development Team. I was also selected for WPLL in 2018 and 2019.

I am also a competitive swimmer. Every year I have scored at SCC's and states. As a team, we won Class M states in 2017, and in 2018 and 2019, we were runner-up at Class S states. Additionally, in 2017 I received the Most Valuable Freshman award; in 2018, I received the Most Improved Swimmer award; and in 2019, I received the Most Outstanding Performance award.

Since sophomore year, I have also run indoor track. As a junior, I received the Coaches Award (2020) and I am also a school record holder in the 4x800m Relay.

I am in high academic standing and I want to become a surgeon. I have made the High Honor Roll every quarter of high school thus far. Additionally, I received the Freshman Certificate of Academic Excellence Award in Science (Physics), History, Language (Spanish), and English. I received the Sophomore Certificate of Academic Excellence Award in Science (Chemistry) and Math (Algebra II/Trig). I received the Junior Certificate of Academic Excellence Award in Spanish and Religion, as well as the Yale University Book Award, Fairfield University/Sikorsky Aircraft Math-Science Award, and I was a Connecticut Scholars Award Semi-Finalist.

I am also in many clubs including Engineering (Co-President 11-12; officer 10; 9), Student Council (President 12; Vice President 11; Secretary 10; 9), Spanish (Secretary 10; 9, 11-12), Youth and Government (9-12). I am also a Cabinet member of the National Honor Society, and in the Spanish National Honor Society.

I am a Special Olympics Swim Volunteer at the YMCA where I help coach kids with a variety of disabilities.
