Celia Braswell
Recruit Profile
Coachable, team player with strong Lax IQ - determined, aggressive, and disciplined multi-sport athlete. Girls Little Laxer volunteer.
I started my lacrosse career when I was seven years old and going into the second grade. After only my first season I loved it. I invested time and hard work into progressing my skill level. Lacrosse is my primary sport. I always give 110%, and I'm driven to be the best player that I can be. I love learning more about the sport and different ways I can perfect my game. With years of training and determination, I am comfortable switching hands, transitioning the ball, and stopping opponents plays before they progress. I pride myself in being a strong defender. I'm always up for a challenge, and I can quickly read the field in game situations. I consider myself to be a coachable player and a strong leader on the field. I currently play for T3 Elite Shore and for Monroe Township High School. During my freshman year, I played on both varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams. My school lacrosse team won the GMC's Championship and made it to the semi finals in states. As a result of my strong freshman season, I was selected for the All Conference, Second Team. My high school studies consists of American Studies, which is a combined honors ELA and History class, Honors Italian 3, and Honors Chemistry. I am a strong academic student, who puts forth maximum effort into my studies. I am working towards attending a 4 year university and studying Forensic Science. In my free time, I volunteer as an assistant coach of the third and fourth grade team in the Monroe Township Girl's Recreational Lacrosse program. In addition, I am an active member of my church's Senior Youth Group. Our Senior Youth group members come together and volunteer in the community and raise money for charities.
