I began playing lacrosse as a midfielder in 3rd grade. In 6th grade, I tried defense and loved it. While I primarily played defense during middle school, my coaches continued to give me some time at midfield and facing off. This has improved my lacrosse IQ and made me even stronger at defense and a more versatile player overall. I'm also a two way starter on my Varsity Football team as a sophomore. My physical toughness on the field in both lacrosse and football is what most people notice about me, but it's my mental toughness that I know gives me an edge. I thrive in highly competitive games and refuse to give up no matter how tough my competition is. I'm taking Honors Algebra, Chemistry, History and Engineering and hope to pursue a degree in Engineering in the future. I do community service in the summer through our town youth camps and love it. I was awarded the Lou Murgia award for Sportsmanship in athletics at the end of my 8th grade year. I'm incredibly proud of this award because I pride myself on how I handle myself on the field.
