I would love the opportunity to play lacrosse at the next level. Being a student athlete in college will require discipline and prioritization skills. My objective is to study computer science and economics to apply to the business analytics field. On the lacrosse field, I plan to actively contribute to the team goals and be a positive influence on my teammates and coaches.
I am a rising senior at Saint Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. For the spring 2022 high school season, I was voted All-Conference and earned All-State Academic honors. Our 2022 team was the Conference champions and second in Sections. For the spring 2021 high school season, I played on the first midfield line and man-up Varsity team as a sophomore. Our 2021 team made its second state tournament appearance in school history. I earned my third Varsity letter (first in 8th grade and 9th grade season canceled for COVID). In the fall of 2021, I was voted to the NXT Can-Am Showcase All-Star team. In the winter of 2022, I was selected for the Adrenaline Winter Challenge All-Star team.
As a student at a Catholic military prep school, I feel extremely prepared for the academic rigor in college. In eleventh grade, my cumulative GPA is 4.1/4.0, which includes taking three AP classes (Calculus AB, US History, Environmental Science). For senior year, I plan to take three AP classes (Calculus BC, Economics Micro & Macro, and Computer Science). My ACT score is 32.
Besides lacrosse, I co-founded the Chinese Club and started a powerlifting club at school with my friends. Outside of school and lacrosse, I have served my community. During the summer of 2021, I volunteered at Majestic Hills Ranch as a sidewalker to assist disabled riders in horseback riding therapy. In the spring of 2022, I volunteered for Habitat for Humanity to build, paint, and finish a home to provide a St. Paul family with affordable housing. In addition, I co-founded a mobile car dealing company with three partners. In college, I will endeavor to carry on the same values instilled from my high school of faith, excellence, integrity, and respect for the lacrosse program as well as my teammates and coaches.
