I started sports as a competitive gymnast at age 5 and quickly made my way to compete at USGA Level 8. I started playing lacrosse at age 8 at the encouragement of my Dad - I didn't love it at first but as I gained more confidence and skill I couldn't get enough and joined my club a few years later while also continuing competitive gymnastics. But after a couple years of trying to juggle both sports (gymnastics required me to be in the gym 15 hours/week for 3 hours/day) I had to make the tough decision to give up gymnastics to focus on lacrosse. I credit competitive gymnastics with instilling in me the importance of strength and conditioning which I lead with today and makes me a better athlete and lacrosse player.
Due to COVID, I didn't have a Freshman season but started every game as a Sophomore, was named both a CCL conference and Sun Chronicle All Star as a Sophomore. I pride myself on my toughness, athleticism, competitiveness and on being a great teammate. In addition to Lacrosse I also play on the varsity field hockey team as the starting right Back.

Tanner Guarino
Charlotte is a hardworking defender with a great understanding of team defense! She plays solid 1v1 defense because of her footwork and aggressiveness. She communicates well with her teammates and is quick to help and slide. Charlotte is an asset in transition because of her explosive speed. She is always ready to compete and give it her all. Charlotte is a great teammate and I enjoy coaching her!
Kristin Igoe
Charlotte is a solid defender for the Gold Star 2023 team! She is strong, fast, tough and aggressive. Charlotte is capable of marking up on any offensive player 1 v 1. She does an excellent job leading and communicating on team D. In transition, she uses her speed to carry the ball up the field. I love her competitive edge and willingness to do anything for the team!
Mike Vitelli
Charlotte is a very talented all around player. I often refer to her as our Swiss Army knife because she is such a versatile player. Her main role for our team is our number one shut down defender but Charlotte is also very good in transition with her speed, can battle on the circle for the draw and even had 10 goals this season during her limited time on attack, which was usually a product of her defensive transition into our attack zone. She is hands down our strongest and toughest player and always gets the assignment to mark the opposing teams best player, which she always does a great job with. Charlotte has a motor and compete level like no other. Whether at practice, in the weightroom or on game day...I never have to worry if she's going to be ready to compete. She also has a nice "edge" to her game and does a great job of getting attack players out of their comfort zone. She's a pleasure to Coach.
