I have played for Canterbury School for two years and have been a starting Varsity player both years. Last season I helped lead my team to a first-place finish in the WNE B Divison tournament. I tried out for the National Tournament and made the Connecticut 1st team this spring. In 2018, I was selected for the WPLL Futures and participated in the summit. I started playing lacrosse when I was 7, and something that I pride myself on is my field vision and transition game both as an attacker and midfielder. I can always find the open pass during the transition and I love to carry the ball up the field using my speed. I can find cutters in the eight-meter with pressured defense and I can also finish on shots. I am a three-sport varsity athlete, and in addition to lacrosse played both varsity hockey and varsity field hockey both years. I am involved in a number of clubs and community service activities. I am a member of Women of Canterbury, a club at my school that focuses on women's empowerment and health and I also participate in the Sustainability Club. I helped with the local youth hockey 'Learn to Skate' program each week this winter. Last summer, I volunteered as a teen leader for a children's nature camp for 2 weeks and also worked with my town food bank to make meals for local families in need.
