Cheyenne Avellino
Recruit Profile
I'm a two sport athlete, I've played all lacrosse positions, I'm very coachable, I have good IQ of the game, a team player and a leader without an attitude.
I started playing lacrosse at age 5. I played midfield then switched to goalie until 5th grade. I then wanted to try defense and fell in love with the position. I started varsity at attack my freshman year and started almost every game. Sophmore year my coach needed a defense player and since I played defense for a couple years I switched back to defense and also wing to allow some offense opportunities.
In the summer of 2018 I made it into The National Lacrosse Classic where I played for Team South 2021 Regional team. I play for T3 Lacrosse (Shore 2021 Blue) in the summer and fall tournaments. I am comfortable with both hands but am a strong righty.
During the fall months I play Field Hockey for my high school at the midfield and forward positions. I've played on the varsity team for four years, earning my varsity letters in field hockey as well. I was named Co-Captain my senior year. I also play in the summer to prepare for the fall season.
In my off time I volunteer at my local church teaching first graders as an assistant instructor and also volunteer time at my local food bank.

Cheyenne is an all around player for Egg Harbor Township Lacrosse - very versatile, a strong defender and a great communicator. Expecting big things this year - especially for being so young, a lot of potential. Please reach out for more information at mwilliams@eht.k12.nj.us - hope to talk soon!
