Christian Hall enters his first year as an assistant coach with the Cortland men’s lacrosse program in 2021.

Prior to Cortland, Hall served as an assistant coach and graduate assistant for athletic compliance and game operations at Wingate University from 2018-20.

Under his tutelage, Wingate captured back-to-back conference titles, improved its faceoff winning percentage dramatically and ranked eighth nationally in the statistic as a team in 2020.

Hall, who earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Wingate, played three seasons of lacrosse for the Bulldogs, helping lead the team to a pair of South Atlantic Conference championships and an appearance in the NCAA Div. II “Elite Eight.” Hall began his collegiate career at Pfeiffer University.

A native of Darlington, Md., Hall graduated from Eastern Technical High School in 2015, where he competed in golf and was a two-time All-Baltimore County selection in lacrosse. He finished as the school’s career leader in faceoff winning percentage and helped guide the team to a regional title and a state “Final Four” appearance his senior year.

Hall currently is a member of the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association as well as the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
