Recruit Profile
I ALWAYS present myself with challenges to become the best version of myself! Creativity, hardwork, coachability, and mental-toughness are key. I LOVE the game! Boxer and swimmer!
I started playing lacrosse in third grade when the first lacrosse program began in Gainesville, Florida. The program was called Pipeline and it was just a few girls. I instantly fell in love with the sport and began going to all of the games played at the University of Florida since it was only a few minutes from my house. When I expressed to my parents how much I loved to play, they took me to try out for Lax Maniax (a large club team in Florida comprised of girls from all over the state). I've been playing for them since the sixth grade. The growth I experienced from Lax Maniax led me to make Varsity as a freshman for my high school team and I was on the starting midfield line every game of my first and second season. I started boxing on the side in eighth grade and continue to take those classes today. I also made Varsity for the swim team my first year trying out and was a district qualifier. As for school involvement, I was vice president my freshman year, president my sophomore year, president my junior year, and am soon going to be the student body president for my senior year. In these positions, I have run the student government class, organized school events, and most importantly, made my mental toughness stronger than ever! I also hold the event coordinator title for my school's HOPE Squad (a club that aims to prevent suicide in local schools by hosting events and taking training classes to better help spot signs among students). I am also a member of Bobcat Buddies, a club at my school that works with our special needs kids after school on Friday's doing simple, fun activities like drawing or baking. I take part in Environmental club and March of Dimes as well. I coach a youth girls lacrosse team of 4 middle school girls (lacrosse isn't a big sport in Gainesville!) in an attempt to give back to the sport that built me. I play the piano and science is my favorite subject! So far I have taken AP Environmental Science, AP World History, AP Seminar, AP Psychology, AP Research, AP US History, and AP Literature! I am a mountain and race biker on the side.
