Christopher Mcintosh
Recruit Profile
Great teammate, active communicator, hard physical team defence, 90%+ student - Defence, LSM, and SSDM
I had played hockey since I was 3, originally for select and house-league teams and later at the AAA and AA level. I had great success as a hockey player, winning various tournaments and getting to represent my high school on the ice.
It wasn't until I was 11 that I started playing lacrosse in the Toronto Beaches Box House-League where quickly developed a passion for the game. Years to come would see me play on various rep field and box teams for the Beaches Organization - several of which I was a captain on. I started to take lacrosse much more serious when I started attending St. Michael's College School (SMCS) in grade 7. I have been a member of the lacrosse program there ever since, excelling at the U14 and JV levels as well as playing a few games with the Varsity team in grade 10 (sophomore). I was the captain of both the U14 and JV teams as well as U14 MVP. This year I have made the decision to drop hockey so I would have more time to focus on lacrosse and school.
I achieved a 91+% academic average in both grade 9 and grade 10. I had the 3rd highest average of my grade 7 class at SMCS. I really enjoy sciences and maths. I am very dedicated to and work very hard in school. During my time at SMCS I have accumulated 40+ community service hours. Furthermore, I have been involved with student government, the stock-market club, the Leadership program as a camp counsellor, and won the middle-school public speaking competition in grade 8.
