Recruit Profile
I am an extremely dedicated and hardworking student-athlete with an extensive lacrosse IQ. I always have a positive attitude, and I am aggressive and fearless when in the cage.

I am a goalie for the New Canaan High School Varsity Lacrosse team and Sound Lacrosse. My freshman spring season, I played on the Varsity, JV, and Freshman teams, getting tons of reps and exposure, and ultimately ending the season with a save percentage of 57%. The JV and Freshman teams wrapped up the season undefeated. For the rest of the year, I play for the 2022 Sound Lacrosse team. Traveling all around, I have been exposed to all kinds of shots from shooters around the country, leading me to develop an extensive lacrosse IQ and confidence in my play. Since I play lacrosse year-round, I am an aggressive goalie with sharp hand-eye coordination and quick feet. I am a leader in communication, and I take deep responsibility for being the backbone of my defense. I also am confident when it comes to intercepting passes, chasing down wide shots, and picking up ground balls. I have a deep passion for lacrosse, and I love the adrenaline of playing such a thrilling position. In addition to lacrosse, I played midfield for New Canaan's JV Field Hockey team. Outside of athletics, I am an extremely hard-working and dedicated student. I have earned High Honors every quarter of my freshman, sophomore, and junior years. My sophomore year, I took AP World History, Honors Sophomore English, M3 Algebra II, Honors Chemistry, and Honors French III. I ended my sophomore year with an unweighted academic GPA of 95.5 and a weighted academic GPA of 99.76. This March, I was named Student of the Month. I also earned a 5 on the AP World History Exam. I currently take AP US History, AP Physics, AP English Language and Composition, Honors French IV, and M3 Pre-Calculus. I ended my first semester with an unweighted GPA of 95.42%. I am also a member of National Honors Society. Outside of school, I enjoy participating in several extracurricular activities. I am a member of the Building Bridges Club, where I teach science lessons and perform experiments with underprivileged elementary students, the Buddies Club, where I provide a safe and loving environment for the special needs students at my school, and the Helping Hands Club, where I help entertain and cheer up the elderly members of our local retirement home. I also volunteer consistently at my school's preschool where I create lessons and teach the preschoolers.

Claire is the calming and consistent anchor of our defense. She has excellent technique and communication skills. Her ability to read the ball, react and make smart decisions is of the highest level. Claire also has the ability to come out of the cage and handle the ball under pressure
