Lacrosse mirrors life so as one of six kids there is a ton I have learned, things I am continually challenged by and that I apply on the field! Seriously, when you have to box out from the time you are three years old to get into the bathroom or to earn a spot for the toaster before the school bus comes intensive play on the field kind of comes naturally. I started playing lacrosse when I was in 1st grade and come from a Lax family. As a multi-sport athlete I progressed from youth soccer and cross country to earning varsity starting positions as a freshman midfielder for lacrosse and defender for field hockey (I am also a flyer off corners- no fear is key, I should thank my siblings!!)

I consistently lead my teams in assists, goals, draw controls, ground balls and caused turnovers. I am a two-way midfielder. I also take the draw. I go where the team needs! One of my favorite things to do is to help coach youth lacrosse clinics. In addition, I have been volunteering my time running lacrosse clinics for my classmates for the past three years. Lacrosse has been a steady companion for me as I had to deal with some early childhood traumas. Therefore, encouraging lacrosse as a healthy outlet for others is a personal mission of mine.

I am an honors student with a 5.34 GPA and love the challenges in the classroom. I enjoy reading, archery (with a 40 pound draw recurve bow) writing, photography and drawing/painting. Focus seems to be something I am drawn to whether it is hitting a bullseye, hitting the kickback, studying honors history or college lacrosse game film. I was also honored to be named a "Kindness Ambassador" by my school administrators/teachers as part of a district wide campaign.
