Claire Oldford
Recruit Profile
Teachable, versatile and aggressive on the ball player.
Growing up in South Carolina, the beach, boating and the water have always been a big factor in my life. When I am not on the lacrosse field I enjoy going out on the family boat and spending time with my friends and family. I hope to go to a college that will not only make me a better student and athlete, but also a better person. The school I am attending now, Porter-Gaud, is very keen on teaching us about character and how developing a solid character will help us in the long run. Even in the school's prayer, it says "(may our) character be noble and up right". Porter-Gaud and lacrosse have both taught me that, not only am I incredibly competitive, but that I must also be conscious of how I affect my community and others around me. I can not wait to see how much more lacrosse will impact me, and I hope to see you in the 2021 summer season!

Claire Oldford is one of the top players that I have had the pleasure to coach over my 16 years of coaching Varsity girl’s lacrosse. I believe this not just because of her skills but because of all of those other factors that are crucial to team success.

Dee Stephan
Claire is a high level lacrosse player. Strong IQ, strong stick skills and the desire and work ethic to go with her skill set! Academics are important to Claire but so is a strong lacrosse program. Need a goal scorer who can feed? Claires the one.

Ed Dougherty
Claire is a top-notch recruit who brings her A game to every practice, clinic, and game. She has great vision the ability to facilitate an offense. Unselfish, she can feed her teammates or take a hard dodge and go to cage. She is a great teammate and leader.
