I have been playing lacrosse since second grade. My roots come from a defensive background in which I learned to play defense first then offense as the fun part. Now, both come naturally to me as I'm constantly building my skills. I lead my high school team in both assists and groundballs and I am second in scoring. It is an honor that my teammates voted me captain this year and I work hard at every practice, game and 1:1 to be a good leader, motivator and overall teammate. Like lacrosse, I relish a challenge academically. I am learning AP Chemistry and will learn AP Calculus, US History, and Economics next year. I also participate in marching band, concert band, and wind ensemble, in which I am the co-principle trumpet player. I, as a member of National Honors Society, help out with the various service projects run by NHS at my school such as the letters of comfort and our clothing drive. I'm learning about personal balance every day and keeping my priorities in perspective and my heart focused on my goals.
