Collin Mitchell
Recruit Profile
I am a multi-sport athlete very active as a volunteer in my community. My focus is being productive on the field, in the classroom and in the community.
I played youth lacrosse from 5th-8th grade in the Rocky River Youth Program. In the Summer, I played travel with Burning River and recently for Mat Wilson and the Detroit Titanium Team. Presently, I am dedicated to the Xcellerate 2015 Cleveland Team, Coached by Jason Tarnow, head coach at Baldwin Wallace. I also played youth hockey with the AAA Cleveland Barons.
As a freshman at St. Ed's, I was the leading scorer on JV lacrosse team.
As a sophomore, I was the leading scorer on the Varsity lacrosse team and the leading scorer on the JV hockey team (I compiled 8 game winning goals, two were in shootouts and another in sudden death OT)
As a Junior, I led our Varsity hockey team with goals and points in the toughest conference in Ohio. I have been honored to be name captain and I look forward to lead the team by good example.
I recently participated in a Clips for Cancer event and I volunteer with the Special Olympics, at a homeless shelter and a food kitchen.
My plans for college include studying Math or Finance. I am open to looking at any college without any restrictions. My hobbies include playing golf and fishing.
