Corey Struss started the program at North Greenville University in 2014 and has taken the program to new heights recently. 25 wins in last 3 seasons.

Corey Struss joined North Greenville in 2014, where he started the program. Since their inaugural season in Spring 2015, Struss has led the Crusaders to 32 wins, including trips to the Conference Carolina Semifinals for the past three seasons. He has also coached and developed:

o Spring 2019 Conference Carolinas Scholar-Athlete of the Year
o Three 1st Team All-Conference Players (2017, 2018, 2019)
o Ten 2nd Team All-Conference Players (2017, 2018, 2019)
o The 2017 Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year

Corey Struss graduated from Seton Hill University in 2010, where he was a three-year starting goalkeeper for the Griffins. As a player, the team captain collected numerous accolades including the “most improved” award in 2008, two-time team defensive MVP in 2009 & 2010, and was an All-ECC honorable mention. He helped lead the Griffins to a NCAA Division II #6 ranking in just three years.

Corey Struss earned his Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing from Seton Hill and a Masters of Arts in Education from Ohio Valley University in 2013. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and is married to Amanda Struss, who played women's lacrosse at Seton Hill University.
