D. serves as an assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Southwestern University since the 2020 season.

D. comes to the university after spending time as a high school assistant coach at Texas powerhouse, the Episcopal School of Dallas (ESD), where he helped lead the Eagles to a combined record of 53-6 across 3 seasons of varsity play.

Ming also has experience coaching in the women’s game, previously serving as a volunteer assistant coach at NCAA Division I program, Howard University and most recently, helping lead the inaugural Puerto Rican U19 Women’s National Team to a perfect 8-0 record in international play, at the 2019 U19 World Championships in Peterborough, Canada.

Additionally, on the international stage, D. is a faceoff specialist for Bermuda’s Men’s National Team and appeared in the 2018 World Championships in Netanya, Israel, where he helped the team reach a 5-3 record.

Ming comes to Texas, from Baltimore, Maryland where he attended MIAA powerhouse McDonogh School before matriculating to the University of South Carolina and breaking into the coaching ranks, winning high school District and State Championships across South Carolina and Florida.
