Dan O’Gorman was named as an assistant coach prior to the 2015 season.

Prior to coming to Saint Joseph’s College, he was a four-year starter for the University of New England, where he served as a two-year captain. O’Gorman was a two-time All-Conference honoree as a two-way midfielder and face-off specialist. While at UNE, he played a role in many program firsts, including during his junior season, when he captained a squad that set the team record for victories (14) and claimed the school’s first ECAC Championship.

At the completion of his NCAA career, O’Gorman ranked as the Nor’easters’ all-time leader in face-off victories (522) and ground balls (445) and was fifth in points (126). He was also selected as UNE’s 2011-12 Male Athlete of the Year.

Prior to attending UNE, O’Gorman was a four-year varsity letter winner at Putnam Valley High School (N.Y.), where he helped the Tigers claim back-to-back Sectional and Regional titles his junior and senior seasons. He garnered All-Section and All-Region honors as a member of the lacrosse program and also earned four varsity letters in wrestling.

In addition to his playing duties, he has coached for several camps and club teams including UNE Lacrosse Camp, New Milford High School Lacrosse Camp, x10 Bocklet Lacrosse Camp, Putnam Valley Lacrosse Camp, Apex Lacrosse Camp and has served as a coach for the Three Tribes travel teams for four seasons.

Dan is currently a member of the Ireland National Indoor Lacrosse Team.
