Danielle Miele enters her first season as an assistant coach for the Fitchburg State University Women’s Lacrosse Team.

Miele, a native of South Hadley Massachusetts, played three years of varsity Soccer, Basketball, and Lacrosse. After graduating from South Hadley High School in 2015, she went on to play Division II Lacrosse at Southern New Hampshire University. She started her Freshman year and then suffered a season ending injury her Sophomore year from a torn ACL. She then started her Junior year again but then again suffered another season ending injury her senior year from another torn ACL. Miele was named a Captain her Junior and Senior year.

Miele graduated from Southern New Hampshire University in 2019 with a Bachelors of Arts, Elementary Education with a Certification in Special Education. She finished with a 3.69 GPA and was part of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
