Dave Bradman

Profile
Bradman was the school’s athletic director when the girl’s lacrosse program was started.

With SUNY Canton, Bradman’s involvement will be much more hands on. The decision was made to add women’s lacrosse in February, and Bradman will be responsible for building the program from the ground up, which should not be difficult given his extensive resume. In addition to holding the athletic director position, he also served as the school’s football and boy’s lacrosse coach for 24 years.

While coaching boy’s lacrosse, Bradman amassed 364 wins, which places him 20th on the list of New York State coaches, according to LaxPower.com.

He graduated from Adelphi University in 1970 with a degree in physical education before obtaining a master’s degree in health. While at Adelphi he was a member of both the football and lacrosse teams.

He was inducted into the Upstate New York Chapter of the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2008.

His son, Sam, graduated from Salisbury University in Maryland in 2012 where he was a standout for the Sea Gulls lacrosse team scoring over 200 career goals and finishing with more than 300 career points.
