I've been playing lacrosse since the 3rd grade. I played midfield for five years before converted to play close D for Team MN. I am still asked to play short-stick midfield for association teams because I have great speed, stamina and stick skills. I am a strong defender with great 1v1 skills on and off ball, Play strong team defense and am aggressive on forcing turnovers and getting to ground-balls. I put school first - and am able to maintain good grades while managing my athletic pursuits. My work ethic has helped me become a High-Honors student. I love to play all kinds of sports with my non-lacrosse friends, such as football, soccer, and basketball. I love the outdoors - my dad and I go on wilderness canoe trips every year in the Boundary Waters in northern MN. My family often takes summer, spring or winter vacations for travel and hiking, although these days most vacations are centered around lacrosse. I love traveling with my Elite team - not only is it nice to play with other players at my skill level, I have also become great friends with all of my teammates. Team MN 2018 prides itself on great team chemistry - everyone works hard, does their job unselfishly, gets along and has fun. I have many interests of study at college, and have yet to decide which I shall choose. My top three picks so far are Business, Marketing and Communications, and perhaps investment banking or finances. I have no strong preference for size of school though feel a bit more comfortable at mid-size schools and smaller. That could change!
