High character, team player who excels both in athletics and in the classroom. Enjoys being coached, committed to learning, and determined to work hard.
Up until the summer of 2020, I was focused on baseball, playing a competitive travel ball schedule during the spring and summer months. I played club lacrosse for the first time before entering HS and have chosen to focus on lacrosse moving forward in High School. As a freshman I was a starter at close D on the Arapahoe HS JV team which finished the season 9-1. As a Sophomore, I've been moved to LSM on the Varsity Team that won the Colorado 5A State Championship. In the classroom I taken Honors Geometry, Honors History, AP Human Geography and on an advanced learning track for Math, Science, History, and Foreign Language (Spanish). In high school I have maintained a 3.9 GPA and am involved in leadership activities. Member of the AHS Honor Roll all semesters and Athletic Letter Winner.

Adam Schneiderman
Derek is an amazing young man. He is one of 4 freshman than played Varsity or JV this year in our program. He is a responsible, hard working, and technically sound defender. We would put Derek on the other team’s best Attackman and he would routinely neutralize them. He is a great teammate and extremely coachable. He is going to be a big contributor on Varsity the next few years.
