Prior to Immaculata, Schmidt served as assistant varsity coach at Pennridge High School from 2009-2011. Following her coaching tenure, Schmidt spent one season at TC Williams High School in Virginia and most recently served as an assistant coach at Marple Newtown High School during the 2012 season.

Schmidt has also had her hand in coaching at the club level. She was the Director of Coaches and led the Elite 2017 team at Motion Lacrosse Club from 2011-2015. Schmidt currently is coaching with Ultimate Lacrosse Club. She has also coached with the Greater Chester Valley Travel Lacrosse program and the Deep Run Upper Bucks Lacrosse Association. In addition to coaching, she was the coordinator for the 2012-2014 Motion Lacrosse Fast Break Day Camp.

Schmidt graduated from West Chester University in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, teacher certification in Health and Physical Education and a minor in Health Sciences.

She currently serves as a Physical Education teacher in the Haverford School District and earned her master’s degree in Education from Cabrini College. Schmidt resides in Havertown, PA with her husband, Ryan, and their son, Stanley.
