Dillon Peterson
Recruit Profile
Leader, team player, coachable, high lacrosse IQ, multi-sport athlete, versatile, hard worker, and a playmaker
I started playing lacrosse when I was 9 and have played both field and box for club and high school teams. When I play midfielder, my strengths on the field include dodging down the alley and man to man defense. On attack, I am skilled at dodging from X and feeding the open man. I have a strong game IQ and I maintain a positive attitude on the field. I believe it is important to live a lifestyle that represents health, honesty, integrity and accountability. This experience has helped me improve my skills and earn the following awards: In 8th grade, I played on the 9/10 high school team and won Rookie of the Year. My freshman year I played Junior Varsity and won Most Valuable Player. In 10th grade I won Rookie of the Year for varsity and was the 3rd leading scorer on the team. This year, as a junior, I was named captain and I plan to show up for my team by supporting teammates both on and off the field. Two years ago I coached a U14 lacrosse team. I also enjoy volunteering for a variety of fundraisers, youth athletics, and at church. I excel in math and biology classes and I am a pretty good student overall. I have also been playing football since I was 8 years old and was starting strong safety on varsity this year.
