Dina Cifelli was hired as the Saint Leo women's lacrosse assistant coach in March of 2021 by fourth season head coach Caitlin Hansen.

"I am thrilled to finally welcome Dina to our staff," expressed Hansen. "She will definitely be hitting the ground running with gameday fast approaching. Fortunately, she is well-versed in the Sunshine State Conference after spending the last two seasons at Tampa. Dina also brings experience coaching and playing in the NCAA tournament. She enjoyed a record setting career on attack at perennially strong West Chester University. I know she will bring great value to our attacking unit and draw circle play, and the team and I are excited to work with her!"

Cifelli most recently graduated from the University of Tampa where she earned a Master of Exercise and Nutrition Science degree. During those two years, she was the Spartan's graduate assistant coach, specializing in coaching the draw and offense. Over the past two years, she has become accustomed to a variety of success within the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) and instructing All-American caliber student-athletes. Leading up to her time on the lacrosse sideline, Cifelli completed a Strength and Condition Internship and took part in a year-long lab research baseball pilot study at Tampa.

Prior to Tampa, Cifelli launched her collegiate coaching career as an assistant at Holy Family University. Before coaching at the collegiate level, Cifelli coached club at Garden State Elite for six years.

Originally from Robbinsville, New Jersey, Cifelli enjoyed a successful women's lacrosse career at West Chester University. Cifelli took the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) by storm, beginning with the PSAC Rookie of the Year title and finishing with four all-conference team honors as West Chester's all-time assist leader as well as the PSAC. She finished her career third all-time in Division II history with 222 assists. In addition, she earned regional recognition for the first time after being named to Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-South Region third team and the national league's All-Star Team.
