Recruit Profile
Strong, fast, athletic, dominant physical presence, coachable/team player, determined, competitive, and never backs down from a challenge.
I discovered lacrosse after moving to New Jersey in 7th grade. Growing up in Florida, I had always been a multi-sport athlete playing soccer, track & Field, volleyball, and basketball. High school offered my first opportunity for competitive coaching in lacrosse. As I was learning the rules and improving my stick skills, I could not believe how much I enjoyed this new challenge. As a freshman at The Lawrenceville School, my exposure to lacrosse expanded and I realized that I truly loved the sport. I enjoy the pace of the game, play making strategies, and the ability to specialize in offensive and defensive field positions. After my first high school season I joined my club lacrosse team, Ultimate Lacrosse 2021. Despite being new to the sport, my size, speed, agility, field positioning IQ, field communication, and competitiveness have been assets to the teams that I have played with so far. At The Lawrenceville School, I was voted captain of my lacrosse team. Additionally, I have earned 4?varsity letters in soccer and indoor track & field in my first 2 years in Lawrenceville. I am proud to be a student athlete, and I have achieved High Honors or Deans List every full trimester. I believe in school spirit and I serve as a tour guide for the admission office and as a Ropes Course Instructor. In both roles, I have the opportunity to meet new people and help them learn about Lawrenceville and about themselves. As a freshman, I was Vice President of the girls dorm leading activities supporting house spirit and community. As a junior, I am the sustainability representative for my dorm council. This summer, I spent two weeks in Tanzania living and working at Mainsprings, a home for abused girls, which was truly a life changing experience.
I am passionate about lacrosse and aspire to play at the collegiate level. I am currently a starting defender for Ultimate Lacrosse 2021 (Jersey #2). I played defense for Ultimate Grit 2021 (Jersey #5) at the Presidents Cup in Wellington FL and will continue to play for Ultimate PA 2021 as #5 as well. My goal is to join a school where I can positively impact the experiences of my teammates on and off the field; continue to grow as a player, add value to the community, and reach my full potential as a dedicated student athlete.
