Assistant Coach for the Notre Dame College Falcons! Mountain East Conference, NCAA Division II

Now entering her fourth year with the Notre Dame Falcons Coach Mettler brings 6 years of prior coaching experience. Mettler graduated from Guilford College in 2013, with a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology. Mettler returned to coach at her alma mater, Beaumont School, from 2013-2014, then coached for the Ohio Premier Lacrosse Travel team from 2014-2016. Mettler joined the Notre Dame College Womens Lacrosse program as the assistant coach in 2016.

As a student athlete, she competed in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference at Guilford College from 2009 to 2013 under Head Coach Matthew Grosso from 2009-2012) and Head Coach Sarah Lamphier in 2013...Mettler was the starting goalie for three seasons in a row...in 2012, Mettler play a total of 1086 minutes, with a total of 186 saves on the season, with a season save percentage of 46.4 overall, and 52.7 in conference...in 2013, Mettler played a total of 1020 minutes, with a total of 158 saves on the season, with a season save percentage of 50.0 overall, and 54.5 in conference...as a senior, she lead her team in cage to the first undefeated season in conference in Guilford College Women's Lacrosse History...that season, Guilford College Women's Lacrosse had an overall season record of 15-2, final conference record of 10-0, and a win percentage of .882 percent. Mettler finished her lacrosse career in the 2013 Senior All-Star Tournament in Philadelphia, during the 2013 NCAA championship weekend.

When her playing career finished, she became a high school lacrosse coach for her alma mater, Beaumont, from 2014 to 2015, and then furthered her coaching career for the Ohio Premier Lacrosse Club team from 2015 to 2016...she also is currently a police officer for the Cleveland Heights Police Department.
