Ella came to me as a 6th grade soccer player with an interest to learn the game of lacrosse. Though small, Ella, was a force to be reckoned with, as she was a fierce competitor, and certainly not shy when it came to body contact. Committing to the game later than most, Ella has caught up due to her strict work ethic, grit, athleticism, boundless energy, vision of the field, and willingness to do what it takes. A team player, incredibly coachable and every coach’s dream. A goal scorer in clutch situations, Ella thrives as the pressure increases. Ask of her and you will receive. A versatile player, (A, D & M) Ella raises the level of play of all of those around her. Set the bar high with Ella. She is “untapped” and has so much potential. A diamond in the rough.

Ella has been a very versatile player for our Yellow Jackets South club team. She is always ready to play wherever we need her on the field. She is someone we count on at the draw, especially when there is a ground ball involved. Over the short period of time we have been a team, she has emerged as a leader. She helps to lead the attack through plays and is a big communicator on the defensive end. Overall Ella is very coachable, a hard worker, and a great teammate!

Ella is a starting defender/middie for Freeman high school where I coach. Her speed and athleticism is showcased all over the field whether she is fighting for a groundball, running the ball up the field, or going to goal. She plays solid 1v1 defense for us and is a force as a 1v1 match up on attack. She is a great teammate as well, she communicates and helps problem solve for us. Outside of practice she is a great person and brings positive energy to the group!
