Recruit Profile
Strong LAX IQ, fast, plays for the love of the sport. Extremely coachable, great selfless team player and mentor. An aggressive multi-sport athlete that gives her all.

I fell in love with lacrosse at 9 years old and haven't put my stick down since!

I have played "up" for our rec team since I started playing lacrosse in 2015 and was consistently a top scorer for the team. I helped win Toms River's first 7/8 girl's CLL division championship in 2019 by both playing and coaching the less-experienced girls and was also selected to the inaugural Coastal Lacrosse League (CLL) All-Star Game in 2019. I started playing for T3 Shore in 2017 and during this time, became comfortable at playing every field position well. I also trained with Meg Douty in the fall and winter of 2017 by participating in several reoccurring clinics. While in middle school, I played field hockey for two years and ran spring track for three (I was playing and practicing rec lacrosse for Toms River, club lacrosse for T3 and running track for my school all in the same season and typically on the same day of the week). In eighth grade, I made it to Ocean County "Counties" for track, running the 400m and placed 20th out of 200 girls in my event (the 20th fastest girl in all of Ocean County for the 400m). I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and received the President's Award for outstanding academic excellence (awarded only to the top 15% of my class).

One of my greatest achievements was being accepted into the prestigious business academy at Toms River High School South (75 kids accepted out of approximately 2K eighth graders) focusing on entrepreneurship. I take honors courses in every subject and am also involved in several clubs at high school including the Future Business Leaders of America where we will compete in the fall with our marketing project at the Atlantic City Convention Center. I was also one of only two Freshmen to make the Varsity Field Hockey team where I practiced six days/week in addition to my T3 Shore schedule.

I am the Toms River Rec 3/4th grade girls coach. Additionally, I volunteer at the Ocean County Library and currently participate in school programs such as the "Making Strides" Breast Cancer Walk and grocery bagging for my field hockey team.

Emily has matured into a consistent and aggressive defender for our team. She also plays midfield for us but spends most of her time in the defensive end. Confident, strong, aggressive and hard working are the qualities that come to mind for a standout defender on our team.
