I began my lacrosse career at age 8 in Northport, NY. When I was 13, my family moved to Ramsey, NJ, for the start of the 8th grade. I immediately joined the Ramsey town lacrosse team, where my coaches named me an All Star at the JGLA Tournament in NJ. I started to play for the Building Blocks Lacrosse North club team in the 8th Grade. After sophomore year, my BBL North team disbanded. I have since joined Mad Dog Lacrosse. For my Freshmen year in high school I was selected to start as a defender for the Ramsey High School Varsity Lacrosse Team, where I received a Varsity Letter. During my sophomore year of high school, I started every varsity game and received another varsity letter. Over the years, I have become skilled with trying new defensive methods other than man to man, such as zone defense. I also have the ability to adapt quickly to different situations on the field as they are happening. Additionally, I can handle the ball well and can shoot accurately with both hands when needed. I love running new plays in games and occasionally being asked to sub in for other positions. I also currently play on the JV Soccer Team as the Goalie and will be staying in shape over the winter by pursuing High School Swimming. I try to stay organized and on top of getting my homework done while keeping my commitments to sports. I live with my Mom, Dad, and younger sister Abby. I also enjoy spending time with them and my friends during the summer at my Grandparents' house at the beach on Eastern Long Island. Abby and I sail at the Orient Yacht Club in Orient, NY (LI) and we also love to swim, fish, and go tubing during this time. I also volunteer through my church and will be volunteering with our Ramsey Youth Town Lacrosse Program this Spring. I hope this gives you some insight into the person I am.
