Emma Marrs joined the athletic staff at Emmanuel in the spring of 2020 as an Assistant Coach for the Women’s Lacrosse program.

Prior to joining the EC staff, Marrs was a member on the Belmont HS Girl Lacrosse coaching staff for three seasons while also serving as a Head Coach at the club level for the Bay State Bullets Lacrosse Club.

Marrs was a part of the 2021 GNAC Women's Lacrosse Coaching Staff of the Year and helped lead the Saints to a 7-0 record during regular-season play to earn the program's first-ever No. 1 New England Regional Ranking.

Marrs graduated from Wheelock College with a Bachelors degree in Special Education and Developmental Psychology. While at Wheelock, Marrs was a four-year member of the Women’s Lacrosse program. She was appointed a team captain in 2015 and 2016 while earning several team accolades including First Team All-Conference honors all four seasons in the NECC and also earned four spots on the NECC All-Tournament Team.

Marrs was named the Wheelock Student Athlete of the Year in 2015 and also served as the President of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for the Wildcats. The 2016 grad also earned Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honors in 2015 and 2016 as well as the Spring All-Academic Award all four years of her collegiate career.

Outside of lacrosse, Marrs works in a full-time capacity at the Manville School in Boston, Mass.
