Erica Adams was named the head coach of the Bridgewater State University women's lacrosse team in the fall of 2015.

While at Nichols, Erica competed on the varsity women's lacrosse and women's soccer teams as well as the Bison club ice hockey squad. She played four seasons on the lacrosse team from 2005 to 2008, including two as the Bison starting goaltender. Adams is currently third all-time in program history with 321 career saves.

Erica served as the head women's lacrosse and women's soccer coach at Pine Manor College from 2010 to 2011. She also spent time as an assistant women's lacrosse coach at Mount Ida College (2012), Hendrix College (2013-2014) and most recently at Norwich University (2014-2015).

In her first two seasons at the helm of the BSU women's lacrosse program, Coach Adams has produced an overall record of 24-12 (.667) including a 16-2 (.889) mark against Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) opponents. The Bears captured the MASCAC Tournament championship and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2016.

During her tenure at Bridgewater State, Adams has coached 11 All-MASCAC players, three MASCAC Players of the Year (Tori McDonough, Lauren Geary, Melissa Renauld) and one MASCAC Rookie of the Year (Elizabeth Ettridge).

Erica is currently the high school director, coach and recruiting coordinator for the Boston Aces club program in Plymouth. She also played semi-professional women's football from 2009 to 2015, including the last two seasons with the Boston Renegades.

Adams obtained a masters degree in leadership from Norwich University in 2016.
