I started playing lacrosse at age 8, and began playing club at 13. I train and work hard to take my lacrosse playing to the next level - the collegiate route. I am a varsity starter on defense and I started every game my sophomore season. During my high school season, I also was assigned to face guard certain players (many of which were committed) and told to mark the player that is the largest threat on the field. I also had the most ground balls on the defensive end of my high school team. Aside from lacrosse, I also play varsity field hockey and run winter track. I currently have a 4.76 GPA out of 4.8. I have been on the high honor roll for all four marking periods. I take all honors classes and I took AP Economics sophomore year, where I scored a 5 on both the AP Micro and AP Macro exams. I also scored a 5 on AP Language and Composition. I work hard every time I step onto the field, whether that be in practice or a game! In addition to being a strong 1v1 defender, I also have strong offensive skills - important in transition. Although I play defense in high school and club, I used to play attack; this benefits me because I am a threat on both sides of the field. I communicate well on the field and have great vision, and I take pride in my ground ball skills. I have also been a part of my school's Model United Nations program for two years. I volunteer at the children’s specialized hospital, and I also I create videos to promote stores that hire workers with special needs. I enjoy writing, mathematics, and science.
