Estella Brawk
Recruit Profile
All around player, coachable, team player, committed, small but mighty, multi-sport athlete, adaptability to different styles of play, hardworking, and always trying to improve lacrosse IQ.
I started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade for Woodbury United. I continued to play for Woodbury United playing attack and midfield until I was in the 8th grade. I made my high school’s JV team as an 8th grade attacker. Freshman year no high school season due to COVID-19. Sophomore year I made the club team for Team Minnesota as a defender. I made the strategic move from offense to defense to allow myself as a player to be more versatile, and to continue to grow my lacrosse IQ. I pride myself on man-on-man defense as well as defending crease rolls. I always look to embrace challenges, and to put in 110% every single day on and off the field. Sophomore year of my high school season I made varsity as a starter defender. Lettered sophomore year. I play on the JV girls hockey team. I do sports performance training four days a week at ETS East Metro facility. I help coach the youth Woodbury United lacrosse teams. I also help serve at the Union Gospel Church. Academic letter award for the 2019-2020 school year. Academic letter Award for the 2020-2021 school year. Honors physical science, honors English 9, and PLTW of Biomedical Sciences (project lead the way) freshman year of high school. Pre-Ap Chem Junior Year. I plan on playing lacrosse collegiately and pursing a degree in nursing.
