I am a 2022 defenseman/LSM, I play for Madlax Oregon and West Coast Starz and attend Lake Oswego High School. I have been playing since I was 5 years old, and have played all positions ultimately landing on defense which I enjoy the most. I am a fundamentally sound defenseman with excellent footwork and communication. I lead our defense in coordinating slides and doubles. My goal is to play at the next level in college, and I am determined to put in the work on the field and in the classroom. I am involved in the lacrosse community as a coach and Lacrosse Ambassador with the youth program and as a J2 level referee and mentor. I am a member of NLYM, a service organization, and have volunteered 150 hours, mostly supporting foster children. I have been invited to play for Whales Lacrosse where I will be raising money and awareness for Wheelchair Lacrosse USA. Senior year I will be taking AP Econ and AP Stats, I am our school yearbook photo editor, and I am interested in studying Business and Finance in college.

Hecht was aggressive all over the field Sunday, and offense players felt his presence every time they matched up. Hecht has top level footwork that allows him to maintain constant pressure in opponents hands. Hecht's game is driven by his never ending motor and pace of play. Never giving ball carriers a second to breathe as he approached with his full stick length with controlled aggression. Hecht throws heavy checks without ever putting himself out of position frequently able to dislodge the ball. Great off the ground and able to push transition, Hecht seems to have all the intangibles of a collegiate defender.
