Truly love playing lacrosse and aggressively competing against high level competition. Dedicated to constant improvement, both physically and mentally. Hard worker, team player, multi-sport-athlete, honor student, cancer survivor.
I started playing rec lacrosse in South Florida at age 9. At 11, I joined a local travel team. By 13, I began playing on club teams and still do. As a freshman, I started on high school varsity and led my team in goals and points per game. Thankful to be recognized, I was awarded 2nd Team All County (Broward County).
I've had the privilege of learning from knowledgeable coaches who have helped me develop a strong lax IQ. I am comfortable dodging and finishing with both hands and I do whatever is necessary to get to the goal or assist a teammate. I also understand the need to be aggressive on the ride and go for every ground ball. I am a humble, coachable, team player and I work hard to improve my skills.
I have also played competitive basketball since I was 8. I played on several travel teams and currently play for my high school. In 2020, I stopped playing travel basketball to pursue my lacrosse career.
I am a hardworking student with a 4.37 GPA, making honor roll on three occasions since starting high school.
In October 2020, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma. This put a hold on my life in terms of sports and extracurricular activities. I went through 6 months of aggressive treatment and learned to appreciate everything in my life. I studied whenever I felt up to it and made it through 8th grade with honors. As soon as I recovered, I trained like crazy and joined my club team for summer season (7 weeks after completing chemo). I may not have been 100% but I still started every game and made an impact. Having survived cancer has significantly influenced who I am and how I look at life and lacrosse. Today, I am completely healthy and in the best shape of my life. I still spend time working with charities who help children with cancer and other illnesses. I plan to continue doing this for the rest of my life.
