I picked up lacrosse at age 12 when my family relocated from Atlanta to New York. I had already been playing Tier 1/AAA travel hockey since I was 4, so playing lacrosse with my hockey background made it easy to pick it up. Started at attack, but I really love playing defense and making great passes for assists, so I changed to middie. Heading into my junior year, I've decided not to continue to play club hockey for the CT Junior Rangers (I will still play varsity hockey for my school) so I could focus all of my time on my school work and getting stronger, faster and better at lacrosse. My high school is very challenging and is ranked in the top 150 in the country. Next year I will be taking AP chemistry and AP calculus. I also work as a caddy as I'm trying to save money for a car and college.
