I started playing lacrosse in the 5th grade for Apple Valley and made the Junior Varsity team in the 7th grade. As an 8th grader I made the varsity team and have each year since as both an attack and defensive player. In my 8th grade season, Apple Valley High School was runner-up section champions and in my 9th grade season of 2018, we won the state championship. In addition to my high school team, I played club lacrosse for Frog Lacrosse my 9th grade year and in the 10th grade I tried out and made the Team Minnesota girls team as a midfield and defensive player and have each year since. For Team MN we consistently travel to tournaments around the country to face strong competitors and always strive for improvement. I am a powerful defensive player who is also strong in stick handling and endurance. My footwork and aggressive defensive playing leads me to be a great player. I am also a valued utility player as I have played midfield and attack whenever needed. I have a long history of athletics having competed in track, cross country, soccer, and other competitive sports. I have been a member of both the fall varsity swim team and varsity alpine ski team since 9th grade. I was also named captain my junior and senior year in alpine skiing as well as All Conference and most valuable skier. I am involved in band and the Minnesota Youth Symphonies with the oboe and English horn. I am in many extra curricular activities such as French club, student council, and jazz band. My sophomore year, I was invited to be a member of The National Honor Society. Each year I take all honors and AP classes as well as college in the school and summer college courses. I volunteer my time on a regular basis at Fairview Ridges Hospital and other organizations such as the Red Cross and St. Jude Childrens Hospital. I have great work ethic and excel at time management to give 100% to my sports, my activities, and my schoolwork.
