Former Syracuse midfielder/attack Gabby Jaquith joined the Brown women's lacrosse staff as an assistant coach in September of 2016.

In 2017, the Bears saw three players earn All-Ivy honors, with two landing on the Second Team. Brown also posted its first shutout since 1982, with a 19-0 blanking of Sacred Heart.

Prior to Brown, Jaquith was the head coach of the Salt City Snipers travel lacrosse team. In two years with the group, Jaquith instructed athletes ages 13-15 in fundamentals and organized drills.

Collegiately, Jaquith coached at two university camps, including Syracuse and Northwestern. In that role, she led athletes in skills, drills and games, while coordinating scheduling, set-up and breakdown with camp leaders.

Jaquith was an assistant coach with Upstate United Lacrosse in the summer of 2014. There, she led and planned drills while working alongside college teammates.

From 2011-13, Jaquith was the head coach of the Star Riders travel lacrosse team, where she instructed athletes ages 12-16 on fundamentals while also designing drills.

Jaquith graduated with a degree in public health from Syracuse in 2016 and was a five-year member of the women’s lacrosse team (2012-16, redshirt in 2013). The Cazenovia, N.Y. native recorded 11 goals and 12 assists for 23 points in 24 games during her senior campaign. Jaquith helped guide the program to a season-high ranking of No. 2 in the country and to the NCAA Championship Semifinals.

In her five years with the Orange, Jaquith and her team reach three NCAA Championship Semifinals and two National Championship Finals. As a senior, she was named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll for the 2015-16 academic year.
