Recruit Profile
Athletic, intelligent, team player--great communicator, leader, well-rounded person, and positive upbeat player
I have been playing lacrosse since I was 5 years old and have grown to have a passion for it. I started playing club for Coppermine in 6th grade, and have been on the team ever since. I am a stronger dodger with a powerful shot with both hands. I attend Towson High School where I run cross country during the fall, compete in an indoor lacrosse league in the winter, and play on the girls lacrosse team during the spring. As a sophomore, I am currently taking 2 AP's, AP Spanish and AP Psychology. This year, as we are finally in school 5 days a week, I have joined multiple clubs to get more involved in the community. I am in the One Love Club, Best Buddies Club, Athletes Serving Athletes and I'm on the Steering Committee for the Class of 2024. Additionally, I participate in a local volunteer group. This past summer I spent a lot of time babysitting for people who live in my neighborhood. It was a great way to make money and really get to meet new people you didn't know lived so close.

I have had the pleasure of coaching Gabi for the past four years on the Coppermine 24 Black team. Her ability to transition the ball, drive to goal, and play sound defense is just a small part of what makes Gabi a versatile midfielder. Gabi excels on both ends of the field, as well as the draw circle. She not only can take the draws but, is a force to be reckoned with around the circle, as she is constantly boxing her girl out and picking up 50/50 ground balls. She is consistently working on her skills, asks what she can do to get better and continues to improve her game year after year. Gabi is a high spirited, positive, friend and teammate. She cares deeply about her teammates and the game of lacrosse. I couldn’t imagine not having her on the team!
