My name is Garrett Walsh and I am a high school Junior (graduation class 2021) with 8 years of experience playing lacrosse as a goalie. I have been selected to play as the starting varsity goalie for the Atholton High School Lacrosse Team in Howard County, Maryland and am currently also on the Rock 2021 Lacrosse Team and the Warrior Diamond National 2021 team.

I had successful Freshman and Sophomore seasons on my High School JV lacrosse team that included being nominated by Varsity Coach, Alexander McCoy, to the Maryland 2018 MSLC Freestate Tryouts and the 2019 MSCLA Freestate Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase Tryouts, being highlighted in an article in the June 5, 2018 edition of the Baltimore Sun as a leader of the defense for the year and being offered the opportunity to practice with the Varsity team at the end of both seasons. My contributions helped the Atholton High School team win the 2018 fall championship for our high school league.

I also played Ice Hockey as a goalie for the Atholton High School Varsity team and was on the U18 A team for the Howard Huskies travel hockey club this past season. I was given with the Freshman Phenom award for the Atholton High School team and the Matt Silverstein award for Overcoming Adversity this past year. During the 2017 2018 season I lead my Huskies U14AA team to win the International Silver Sticks regional tournament which took us to the finals competition in Port Huron, Michigan. We then went on to win the Maryland state title which took us to the USA Hockey Youth Nationals in Buffalo, NY.

At this time, I am beginning my college search with a GPA of 3.0.
