Most recently, Breres was the Associate Head Coach of the Polish National Lacrosse Team at the 2014 FIL World Championships held in Denver, Colorado. The team finished in 19th out of 38 competing nations.

Breres was also an assistant coach at SUNY Cortland in 2000 after playing two years for the college from 1998-99. Prior to Cortland, he played for Farmingdale State in 1997, reaching the National Semifinals as the team’s starting goalkeeper.
