Gianna Eglauf
Recruit Profile
Fast and aggressive, multi-sport athlete, determined, coachable and disciplined, good sportsmanship and team motivator
For as long as I can remember lacrosse has been an important part of my life. I have played for my school since 1st grade and my club team since 6th grade. I can't imagine life without playing lacrosse. Its a part of my everyday life. Whenever I come home from school and have had a long and hard working day, I go outside in my backyard and shoot some balls. Every time I pick up my stick I am determined to improve and am driven to be the best I can be. What holds me apart from other athletes is my speed, athleticism and passion for the game. I am a committed, coachable and positive team player.
In 8th grade I was moved up to my JV high school lacrosse team. Then in my freshman year I was the only player moved to varsity, started, and was chosen All League player of the year. I was chosen by my club team to play at UA 150 and played at UnD1sputed and was chosen to play on the All Star Team. In addition to lacrosse I was moved to varsity soccer my freshman year, started and got All League Player as well. I also played JV basketball. As a three-sport athlete I know what it takes to be a committed team player and love being on a team with players that share my same passion.
Academically I am a dedicated hard worker and try to reach all of the goals that I set for myself. I never give up and have worked so hard to make the Honor Roll every quarter since freshman year and continue to keep it up. All of my teachers say that I am the most diligent hard working student. When something is difficult, I am determined to try even harder to succeed. I am very involved with community service as well. I am a Girl Scout, youth leader, service club member and Italian club member.
I believe that I have the talent to compete for a college team, the character, determination and leadership skills you would want on and off the field.
