Grace Beshlian

 
Profile
Grace Beshlian was hired as assistant lacrosse coach in July of 2022.

She joins the program after spending the 2021 season as an assistant coach at William and Mary.

At William and Mary, she helped coach five players to All-Colonial Athletic Association honors – including three All-Rookie Team selections. William and Mary also led the CAA in ground balls per game (20.12), caused turnovers per game (9.12) and saves per game (10.69). The Tribe’s ground balls average ranked seventh nationally.

Prior to William and Mary, Beshlian served as a student assistant coach at UConn in 2021 following her standout playing career for the Huskies from 2016-20.

In 2021, the Huskies matched the program record for wins (12) and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for only the second time in program history. The squad set four team statistical records and finished the year ranked 21st in the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaching Association (IWLCA) Poll.

Beshlian also helped coach a program-best five players to IWLCA All-Region honors, including midfielder Sydney Watson who became the first player in program history to be selected to the IWLCA All-America First Team. Goalie Landyn White also finished the year ranked third in the NCAA in saves (167).

Beshlian was a two-time all-conference performer for the Huskies. The goalie finished her career ranked third in program history in career saves with 471.

The Wantagh, N.Y., native holds a bachelor’s degree in special education (2020) and a master's degree in educational psychology (2021) from UConn.
