Two year starter at midfield. I play with passion and intelligence. I have a great attitude and love my teammates. I'm an excellent student involved in my community.
Lacrosse has been an integral part of my life since the second grade. My township coaches made the game so fun. I joined a club team as soon as possible to compete with girls who love the game as much as I do.
I am always challenging myself and staying active. I've attended a unique summer camp since age 6 for flying trapeze and other aerial circus arts. It is high-adrenaline and taught me the importance of focus, determination, and perseverance which I carry over into all aspects of my life.
I take great pride in being a positive communicator as well as my ability to lead by example. I was the captain and a key contributor for my middle school field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse teams. I recognized early on that you can't change the past, only learn from it. I encourage others with my next play mentality.
I achieved one of my individual lax goals being named a freshman starter on my high school squad. Unfortunately, the season was cut short but we are finally back at it in 2021! I'm cherishing every moment I get to be on the field with my teammates, and we are improving every day.
On the field, I stay composed while playing with energy & toughness. I am a team-first competitor, but enjoy being challenged with difficult one-on-one matchups. I hold myself accountable to get the job done. I use my lax-IQ to put myself in position to make the right play for my team. I am comfortable operating in any area of the field.
Academics are important to me. I am eager to learn and utilize my critical thinking skills. I maintain straight As while enrolled in one of the most rigorous course loads possible. I am a member of the National Honor Society.
I stay involved in my community by volunteering with the FRIENDS program at my school, working alongside special needs children. In February 2020, I had the privilege of traveling to the Dominican Republic with the Luke World Mission organization to assist disadvantaged children.
These opportunities have opened my eyes and motivate me to be a future difference-maker both on and off the field.
